Richard W. Rose

Mr. Richard W. Rose, 88, of South Fulton, TN, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II and was a member of the Smith Street Church of Christ in South Fulton. He was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office where he worked for 30 years. He had lived in this area all of his life.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Martha (House) Rose of South Fulton, TN; 2 sons Gregory R. Rose of South Fulton, TN and Mark B. Rose of Cleveland, TN; and 1 grandson, Mason Rose of Cleveland, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Treva (Webb) and Boyd Edwin Rose.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Oak Grove Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for graveside services. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
