Billy Gene Hammock

(February 21, 1935-April 24, 2015)
Mr. Billy Gene Hammock, 74, of Sullivan, Missouri, formerly of this area, passed away Friday, April 24, 2009.
He is survived by three sons; John Hammock and wife Lilley of Augusta, Missouri, Terry Hammock and wife Donna, and William Hammock and wife Kathy all of Jacksonville, Florida; his mother, Lela Gordon of Fulton Kentucky; three brothers, Rev. Wayne Gordon and wife Mary of South Fulton, Tennessee, Roger Gordon and wife Judy of Fulton, Kentucky, and Bobby Gordon of Sharon, Tennessee; three sisters, Virginia Cole, Patricia Cook and husband Bob of Union City, Tennessee, and Mary Ann Hayden and husband Lee of Martin, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline White Hammock, step-father Alfred Gordon, one brother, Russell Gordon and one sister, Linda Kay Lee.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.



Mac has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Averett University. From Virginia, he moved to New York in 2011 to start a family and to work as a psychology instructor. Now, he writes health and lifestyle news for Beacon Transcript. Right now, Parker also works as a part-time voice coach.
