Coach Swipe At Liverpool

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who was a source of controversy during the recently closed transfer window was shaded by Arsenal’s legend Paul Merson ahead of England’s World Cup qualifier against Slovenia at Wembley tonight.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was on the brink of signing for Chelsea from Arsenal when the deal went south.

Arsenal had agreed on terms in principle with Chelsea when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scuttled the deal, claiming a preferred move to Liverpool was in his sights.

The crunch tie against Slovenia slated for 19:45 tonight and England looks set to claim victory at Wembley ahead of their World Cup Qualifier. England is top with 20 points in the group standings ahead of Slovakia on 15 points.
