James Hewitt, Princess Diana’s Ex-lover, Fighting For His Life After Stroke And Heart Attack

James Hewitt, Princess Diana’s ex-lover, has been battling between life and death in the hospital due to a stroke and a heart attack.

The 58-year-old man went to the intensive care after going through an urgent operation because of a prior illness.

Hewitt’s family are optimistic and believe he will be fine. Hewitt is currently recovering after being moved to another hospital.

Before transferring him to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, Hewitt was in Derriford Hospital in Plymouth

A family member said the family were “concerned” after the previous British Army officer endured a heart failure before the operation.

“He had a pre-existing illness, then got seriously ill. Suddenly it got very critical and he was rushed to hospital,” an anonymous source said.

“It was pretty serious, but hopefully we’re all OK now. He is recovering and has been moved to Exeter.”

Hewitt was a former lieutenant who served in the Gulf War. He was born in Northern Ireland but lived in the West Country. He was in a relationship with Princess Diana in the 1980s while she was married to Prince Charles.

In 1992, Diana and Prince Charles parted and then ended their marriage by getting a divorce four years later.

Princess Diana confessed her affair with Hewitt in an interview with Martin Bashir for BBC’s Panorama in 1995; a legendary interview that infuriated Buckingham Palace.

Due to the affair, rumors have been going around that Hewitt may be Princes Harry’s biological father.

However, Hewitt totally denied such a possibility in March on Australian Television.

“No I’m not”. He answered when asked whether he’s Princess Harry’s biological father. “It’s worse for him, probably, poor chap,” Hewitt added.
