British-Lebanese barristar Amal Clooney kept everyone guessing amid speculation that she is expecting her first child with her megastar husband when she attended a special dinner. The lawyer was one of a number of people honoured at a Women of Impact dinner in Switzerland this week.
While she certainly did not look anything over than her usually svelte self, she opted for a two piece matching outfit, which covered up part of her tummy while attending the event with George. She chose a vintage Chanel outfit from the Sixties. However, even though her find is decades old, it is up to the minute with its coordinated two piece styling. The skirt, with a contrasting panel at the top did look as if it could be hiding a small baby bump.
Rumours about a possible pregnancy first began to circulate when Amal opted for a loose fitting floral smock to an event promoting the White Helmets documentary last week, rather than her usual bodycon style. Then, she was seen in another baggy number when she wore a white jumper for a walk close to the country home she shares with her husband in Berkshire.
Amal was honoured for her human rights work at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. The event was hosted by the publisher Tina Brown in Davos. Powerful people from across the world gathered at the 46th annual meeting, including the outgoing US vice president Joe Bidden, who was seen warmly greeting the Clooneys.
Amal appeared along with her Nobel Peace Prize nominated client Nadia Murad. Nadia, who is also a UN Goodwill Ambassador, was imprisoned by terrorist group ISIS after her mother and brothers were killed three years ago. Amal has helped her to talk about the ordeal facing the Yazidi people, who are native to Northern Iraq.
