Flight For Life Called To Mayville Middle School

Flight for Life was called to Mayville Middle School on Jun 03 at 9:29 a.m. after a district employee sustained serious injuries in a lawnmower accident.
The male employee, a Horicon native, was cutting grass along a retaining wall when he lost control of the mower and fell roughly five feet off the wall. The result of the fall knocked the man unconscious with gasoline spilling onto him as the mower was turned upside down.
Police said if it were not for the roll bar attached to the mower, the man could have very easily lost his life. The man was transported to Aurora Medical Center in Summit. More information will be provided when available.
