Teresa Joyner Hom

Teresa Joyner Hom, 37, of Crestwood, Kentucky, and formerly of South Fulton, TN, died Friday at her residence.

She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Martin, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. She moved to Louisville to work at Jewish Hospital, UPS, and Humana. In 2007, she was Humana’s team captain for the Relay for Life campaign.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Hom; and two sons, Zachary and Nicholas; and her parents, Terry and Willa “Kay” Joyner.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 21, at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Sunday.

The family requests memorials to Crestwood Baptist Church, or Fern Creek Baptist Church.



Mac has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Averett University. From Virginia, he moved to New York in 2011 to start a family and to work as a psychology instructor. Now, he writes health and lifestyle news for Beacon Transcript. Right now, Parker also works as a part-time voice coach.
